Just understand a second hand 600D will only serve you a very short period. Otherwise get a second hand 6D. Good camera, durable and still manufacturer supported.

I started about a year and half ago with the 1100D/T3, and due to some great deals I now have two 600D/T3I cameras, one for parts, and one for regular use, and am really enjoying it.😊

Like 10 years ago when I started, I had pretty much the same setup.. mine was a then new 700D with the kit lens, and then the 50 and the 10-18.. great setup to learn, definitely!

I’m a beginner of three months, and I am using a Nikon D3200, with a 50mm F/1.8 and a 35mm F/1.7. It serves me well and I get awesome pictures with it, and the video mode is decent. It is a camera from 2012.

i got the cabin 250d, 50mm 1.8f and 18 - 55mm. So far, so good.

imo the Canon 70D is a way better camera for the price.
you get dual pixel AF which is miles better than the 600D/T3i
plus it has a better body that will feel a bit more like a pro camera

Got a second hand 50mm on the advice of a friend for my first DSLR (Canon Rebel). Best purchase ever.
Have graduated to a Sony A7iv now, and the lessons I learned on that Rebel still come in handy.

My first camera was Nikon D5100 with kit lens back in 2014 and my first mirrorless is Pristine second hand body only fujifilm X-E4 and second hand 35mm f2 😁.

It is good if you have some small knowledge, to pick a zoom lens, not extreme, but like around 20-40 to 100-150

I started with a phone cause I wasn't able to afford a camera
But when I could, I got a Canon 77d and an 18-135mm (not the best lens, but still better than the 18-55mm)
I'm still using the 77d but got a second hand 24-105 and a second hand 70-200 as my primary lenses
Pretty good if you ask me
Currently saving up for either a Fujifilm X-t5 or a Sony A7 iv

Rn i have a canon t7 and i got a 50mm 1.8 yesterday. The difference in picture quality between that and my kit lens is crazy lol. My next one is gonna be a 70-200 mm lens cuz i like shooting motorsports

Last saw a video from this guy that got it wrong (or not explained correctly) and this. He started with this _exact_ setup and goes and get a photo of an RF 50 mm f/1.8... I understand it was a EF but common ought to exist stock photos of that one too.
