I’ve literally done Miami this afternoon and I was suffering with you same problem, the engine overheating, I may not be in the McLaren but regardless my engine was still overheating

The engine revs sound different in F124 than they did in F123. I was burning up my engine, too. I turned on the shift assist beep, and it was telling me to shift earlier. When I started doing that the engine temp dropped from 143 C to 126 C. So it's getting used to the new shift point.

Whats is your engine breaking %? High engine breaking causes engine temps to go up=less power. Lower eng braking or synchronize it with break bias. Front breake bias works good with low engine breaking and rear good with high.

There's a setting that you can turn on that gives you an audible beep when is the best time to shift up, if shifting might be a cause for overheating. Hopefully they fix thing fast. Love the content though, keep up the good work :)

I did the miami gp earlier today, and I also struggled on the straights. I thought it was my setup or something, but seems like its a common issue.

Probably time for a power unit, Probably pure engine power with a cooling upgrade

I mean if you lift and coast for like 100 meters while going 330 it coolds down by like 10-15 degrees so just lifting for like 25 meters will help you alot
