MC Lyte is a good addition. She brings in a traditional view, I wish she'd stay! She's very pretty too.

I agree with Loni AND eventually even if something is funny, the more you say it, it kind of becomes bullying and no one is an amazing actor. People will show through their face and actions if they are offended or not.

😂😂😂😂 These ladies have never been bullied? You think bullies CARE if you tell them they are bullying you? You think a “hey, you hurting my feelings. Could you please stop?” is going to stop a bully?? You have never been in a situation where you acknowledging the bully even gives them more power and they up their game. These ladies gas lit Tommy Davidson so hard. Also, Adrienne is the most self righteous person I have ever seen. In her righteousness, she ALWAYS dismisses the feelings of other people. I’ve never seen her defend the little person. I Really miss Jeannie Mai!

Adrienne stays siding with who she appears to think is the bigger name. It's so obvious/transparent. 🙄 What about 3LW? Bullying and/or miscommunication was going on there, too. When did you speak about it? Those guys were young and Jamie was one of those guys whose jokes were relentless. He's a funny guy but imagine someone having something to say about everything, all the time. You can see Jamie doing that on his show-- especially in the bloopers. That man can tell his story the way that it happened. If you don't want to be a villain in the book, don't be one in real life. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I appreciate Loni's perspective about Tamera, cause I noticed it as well but I think Tamera knew it didn't come from a bad place so it was okay.

Adrienne needs to hush. That girl seriously thinks she knows it all and she thinks she's always right. She's very small minded. Adrienne, 95% of the time you know when you're offending someone and you can see it in their face. Adrienne needs to grow up.

Tommy couldn’t pull Jamie aside but at the same time Tommy was much younger much of a younger man than he is today and he probably didn’t have the voice to do that at the time.

Damn they victim blamed Tommy Davidson.

I think he deserves the chance to tell his truth! The whole point of those who happen to write books about themselves is to talk about stuff they’ve gone through and maybe people they’ve crossed paths with… doesn’t make them a bad person for doing so… just means they’re speaking their truth !

What's going on with Adrienne? She's not understanding anything on these recent episodes. She's making no sense.

I think its nice to say that he should have taken him to the side and said this or done that but to be real...Jamie and Tommy were two black male comedians in the 90's on a predominantly black set so I'm not so sure there was space held for that kind of conversation/sidebar to happen and for it to be successful. Men in general but especially black men aren't really encouraged to confront and communicate our feelings...let alone be vulnerable enough to say someone hurt our feelings. Tommy would have probably been looked at as "soft" or "not able to take a joke"...it could've made the dynamic even worse. It's probably only now he's able to see it for what it was and speak his truth and if Jamie cared about their friendship no matter how much time it took for Tommy to tell his truth I would like to think a friend would be able to mend that wound and move forward. Idk it doesn't seem like it was a super big deal just something he felt, expressed, and set free..that's what all memoirs are for.

Interesting that garcelle classified it as being competitive but if it was a predominantly woman filled set Jamie would be accused of being a mean girl.

If they were friends why would Jaime go after him like that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Loni with the slight shade at the end "work friends" 😂💀 I remember that was a big thing when Jeannie didn't invite them to her and Jeezy's wedding 🐸☕️🌚

Sitting down to talk about it would be the advice you’d expect from a female perspective. Men don’t handle situations that way because if he let it show it bothered him it would make him look soft like he couldn’t take a joke and maybe it would have made the situation worse. This was a long time ago when all these guys were young and starting out and I’m sure in hindsight they both wish they handled things differently, but that’s life, you grow and you hopefully learn from the past.

Adrienne keeps going on and on about how they were friends and he didn't tell Jamie he's hurt 🙄. Were they friends though? People need to stop calling colleagues friends. Also being friends with someone doesn't mean it's easy to voice out your frustrations about them to them.

How about just not make fun of other people then we don't have to worry about who is or isn't offended

Wow. Well if we lived in a world where people stood up for themselves and told people how they feel immediately, then we wouldn't have the stress, depression, suicides and etc. that go on. But we don't live in that world and it's hard for people to stand/speak up when it first happened and they might get the strength later.

These be the same women being understanding of women speaking up years later about abused, raped/being sexually harassed at work/school/church/at home. But they telling this man he should of spoke up then. Bullies know what they are doing and will keep doing it because they think they can whether you speak up or not.

However, I don't know about writing a book and naming mean people. But if we aren't friends anymore, then I wouldn't feel bad for saying it but if you're still friends and you didn't tell them you put them in a book, yea that's not ok.

Adrianne making excuses for foolishness. If your a grown socially competent adult, then your aware (at least you should be) when you offend someone. I hate when the 'more famous' persons behaviour is always excused. Tommy had every right to say what he said it's his story, his perspective.
