Still can't believe we are pratically playing a pixar movie. Was young when the PS1 came out. It's been wild seeing things become so impressive.

See this is the kind of emotional investment and reaction I wanted to see out of Ratchet after Deadlocked. Alot of people don't know or realize that in Deadlocked, Ratchet was essentially forced to kill people, and most of them innocent people who were kidnapped by Gleemen Vox just like he was and forced to play in the Dreadzone games. In one of the comics they touch on this, that he essentially has PTSD from those events, and it marks why Ratchet's attitude about "being a hero" goes from the jovial enthusiasm of the first trilogy of games and changes into a sense of duty and maturity for the rest of the games in the series. I just wished they touched upon this in the main series and not just in some side comic.

Level of detail in this game is honestly unbelievable

I noticed how at 6:03 it looks like her arm is in pain. Amputees have “phantom pain” where their brain thinks their limb is there but it isn’t and it hurts. Love that extra detail.

I love how kit actually is scared of herself once she cuts off rivets arm, and how much pain rivet was in. It makes her character seem more human. Even how she blames herself for everything or how she think of herself as a broken bot and a horrible partner. And I see why she blames herself because she knows she cause so much suffering to others and she just want to keep the ones she made suffer safe. I know this because I have been in her shoes.

It’s ironic how ratchet and clank got teleport to different dimensions each to the hero’s of that dimension to fix each other’s problems

Tbh when Kit turned into a giant robot and her eyes turn from blue to red, it reminded me of Bumblebee.

1:17 I like how ratchet's ears go down when kit points her rockets at him. a nice little detail that relates to cats in real life when they feel threatened

Might I add that rivet experience phantom pain when kit went to the berserker mode (implied by the fact she felt pain when she saw her)

I like how people theorized that she lost her arm duo to some Robotic Virus, that changes biomatter into metal (and yes this is an actual thing in the Universe of Ratchet and Clank games).
But in the end she simply got badly injured...

And before more people come around while being blind:
No, Kit didn't "completely blast Rivet's arm off."
Rivet still has her right arm when she's running away in that Flashback.
It's just limped and she can't move it.
