I think some clarification on the minimum recommended spec for fsr3 are nvidia 20 series and amd 5xxx series. I want it to succeed, but my expectations are fairly low.

Simply because it's open source. That's the main reason. Dlss is far too restrictive.

I believe it's gonna be shit compared to dlss3 with respect to quality. You might get the fps but it would be just washed out with a lot of artifacts just like frs2. AI driven tech is significantly better than generic ones.
