How to Reset Adobe InDesign Preferences

FACTORY RESET InDesign :
Close InDesign
Double click on Adobe InDesign’s icon.
QUICKLY hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift. (for Windows) or Command + Option + Shift + Ctrl (for Mac OS X or CTL+OPT+CMD+Shift )
When a dialog appears, ask you “Delete InDesign Preference Files?” Click Yes.
Warning! This procedures will delete any custom settings you have, including document and print presets, transparency flattener presets, and custom stroke styles, and restore all the settings to the defaults. The preferences files will be recreated when InDesign is relaunched.

WOW THANKS I've been cussing at my computer for months!!! I always had to delete and REINSTALL the app which would take at least 30 minutes every time.

InDesign 2024, does not work on a Mac.

Sir, I installed InDesign on my Windows 11. But, after some time, it shows a message "you're not using the genuine version, and ask me to purchase the genuine version." So, I was planning to re-install the software from the beginning. That's why, first I uninstalled the software completely through IOBit Uninstaller Pro. But, even after uninstalling the software, still I can open InDesign. But, no options work at all currently. So, would kindly tell me the reason behind it? How can I completely uninstall the Software? And, there is also a message pop up every time I boot up my PC, - "Assertion Failed!". How to can I fix it? Please make a video on that.
