Camping at the Lakeside KOA in Fort Collins, Colorado

I bought a lot of new camping equipment in preparation for my first year of camping, so we went up to the Lakeside KOA in Fort Collins, Colorado to try things out. It all went really well, and this is my camp walk-through soon after setting everything up.

It's the REI Kingdom 4 tent purchased in early 2013. I've used it in both hot and cold weather and I really like it. The extra REI Connect Tech Garage is extra but the rain fly comes with it. I've used the garage when it's warm out at night and it has been great for allowing ventilation through the tent with the screen doors in place while still allowing for privacy. The garage was also great when it was raining as we fit five camp chairs and five people inside with plenty of room.

Great video! I think I just made up my mind what tent I want to get. I love the set up you have! What is the rug/ material you have for a floor in the screen room?

The owner of KOA Lakeside was verbally abusive to my wife when she asked about the extra fees for use of the childrens' playground. We are recommending that unaccompanied women should not enter campground office if the owner is present.
