Today we are taking a tour of the Penthouse Collection at 67 Franklin Street, at the Cast Iron House. Originally built in 1881 by James White, 67 Franklin Street represents one of New York’s most stunning examples of 19th-century cast iron architecture. The landmark building’s neoclassical façade rises six stories, with intricate ornamentation that shifts subtly from one floor to the next. In reimagining the 13-unit building, architect Shigeru Ban respected its historic detailing, but reenvisioned its interior volumes and created two glass and steel penthouses that represent the height of contemporary living.

Listed By: Ryan Serhant, Jennifer Alese, and Krista Nichols

I feel like they could have done more work to make this blend into the original building. Just looks like a big white box on this beautiful old structure 🤔

You know, Ryan? I love how energized you are. You seems happier talking about the wall than most people are talking about they wedding day.

No electric opening glass doors? My billionaire hands can’t be opening a wall of glass doors manually.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant idea, however, the proximity to your neighbors is a concern, other than that it would work.

Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.

I would never be able to truly relax with the other buildings so close. I would feel like people could watch ne every second. If i spend that kind of money on a home, then i would like to have some privacy and walk around butt naked if i wanted, without having to constantly feel that i had eyes on me
