i genuinely cried watching this. we lost a gem in this world. a real fighter for the trans community, and somebody who shook and displaced the music industry at it's core. every reference, that was made with the visuals of this tribute really made me even more emotional. i wish i had gotten into her music sooner. i love her so much and every january 30th or september 17th i will remember her. sophie will remain immaterial forever.

From the perfect replication of that photo oh her naked behind that pink liquid, to the QT can, to sliding down the BIPP slide, to the iconic lipstick and smoking photo this video perfectly encapsulates the iconography Sophie pioneered. This video is one of the most lovingly created things I've ever seen. So much of her is represented in this. You did an astounding and unbelievable job. She would be so honored by this. Thank you for sharing a piece of your soul by immortalizing our Forever, Immaterial Girl.

I work as a VJ and I played this video in the club tonight. People were screaming in excitement, it was a beautiful moment. I’ve been on a SOPHIE marathon since the anniversary of her debut album and still can’t believe we’re getting a posthumous release soon…🌹
