Potential topic for another video. Trainwreck amps are allegedly known for going from “clean to mean”. If true, I’m curious why the Derailed Ingrid doesn’t really have a ton of gain on tap or clean up well with the guitars volume knob?

I love one channel amp tones, like Matchless, Vox, Mail Order Twin, but I try to set em up with bridge on full volume for my gain tone, and flip to the neck and roll back volume to clean up, Helix does it well, Catalyst didn’t seem to do that so well, I sent mine back

To me, high gain would be an 80s (Randy Rhoads/George Lynch) sound. It’s so frustrating watching all these clickbait “high gain” videos where everything sounds just old rock or bluesy! 🙄
