Five things i dislike about the Lenovo ThinkPad T470

Hello, welcome to the RMCAT channel, in todays video I will be telling you guys five things I dislike about my Lenovo ThinkPad t470. Don't get me wrong this is a great laptop, but with all great things there are always underlying cons that'll shine out a bit more. Anyway here it is.

The good thing about this model is that it is being thunderbolt 3 supported which makes it pretty future proof in the upcoming years

You're definitely right. A laptop is meant to be portable, but the battery doesn't let you use it unplugged for very long.

I have such a strange problem, namely I bought two identical - post-leasing ThinkPad_y 470 20JN-S10V35 and despite the fact that they have the same BIOS version of the graphics system installed and the same Intel driver, in one the maximum screen resolution is 1920x1080 (and it should be) and in the other max it - 1600x900. The same is shown not only by Windows but also by the Lenovo Test run in the BIOS of the Motherboard. It is the same in Win 10 and Win 11. GPU -Z shows differences between the two Paws in BUS WIDTH - (good)-128bit / (bad)-64bit and Bandwidth (good)-34.1GB/s and (bad)-17.1GB /p.
In addition, both laptops work decently - only the one with 1920x1080 has a nicer, brighter and more contrasting image. What do you think could be causing this?

The T470 and the T480 have the exact same m.2 slots. 1 in the hdd caddy, and 1 originally used for wwan card.

You have the very small basic battery, it's only 24Wh
I have both the 61+ and 61++ that reaches 72Wh, quite a difference, it's just a bit more heavy

1. La batteria può essere ampliata e ce ne sono ben due, inoltre quella esterna si può sfilare e cambiarla con una carica mentre è acceso;
2. L’HDD può essere cambiato e addirittura aggiunto in formato m2, ci sono mille tutorial;
3. Il display opaco è adatto per lavorare all’aperto senza riflessi e schermi lucidi inutili da fighette;
4. La ricarica si può fare anche da usb thunderbolt;
5. Tre livelli di luminosità del Thinkpad ne valgono 6 di un Mac.

Questi sono computer seri per gente seria. Non giocattoli per fighetti.

ie...the storage is a problem.... But there is plenty of storage??

The biggest thing is that the t470's are only dual core.. The t480's is quad core

dont use type c chatger. they are likely to fail prematurely. type c is horrible durability wise
