It sounds like he started crying at the end, when he remembered Tavros. Like distant, distorted crying. Like Gamzee was trapped somewhere, sobbing quietly, hopelessly. In fact, a lot of this song sounds like it's not from Gamzee's perspective. 'Did you forget I was here?'

Gamzee is actually a pretty sad character, he is a bard of rage, bards are about passive destruction and corruption, hé tried to be a good person, hé tries to destroy the rage that was corrupting him by eating slime pie (basically doing drug) but when he realised it was his fate to be a chaotic being who would destroy everything, he embraced his nature and accepted it, I'm pretty sure he suffered from lying to himself on who he really was and someday he was done with suffering and decided tu fully become The bard of rage hé always was

Gamzee is not a bad person, he tried to avoid The unavoidable but his fate and his classpect forced him to do what he does

me and my girlfriend were actually talking earlier about gamzee and i told her that i've always had a headcanon about gamzee's freak out. i've always had this headcanon that gamzee was going through extreme withdraw for years of eating his pies then all of a sudden just not eating them anymore that alone would cause violent mental breakdowns, seizures, and violent sickness, but here's where the kicker of the theory, i have a feeling gamzee was going through the purple-blood version of puberty (which kinda adds to my theory since highbloods are instinctively more violent and easily angered). troll puberty is usually around the 6-7-8 sweeps of age i wouldn't be that far of a stretch. i think purple bloods have a very different version of puberty then the rest of the spectrum. from what i hear highbloods in general are naturally violent so just like any other puberty Moodiness, Emotional changes, Anxiety, Irritability, Clumsiness, Increased libido (sex drive) but the thing is what would a highblood do with a average human puberty? there called highbloods for a reason, there high and mighty there not average so why would they have an average puberty? purple bloods are known for being insane not fuchsia bloods not indigo bloods but purple bloods themselves are infamous for being insane so add all being a highblood, being a purple blood, going through an extreme withdraw and having nearly all instinct kicking in all once, adding on all the physical stress and pain that comes with physical and mental puberty and years of drug use would cause that level of freak out. i may sound a bit far fetched but it makes sense to me, and no i'm not trying to make excuses for gamzee. murder is murder and it's not ok but i hope you enjoyed my theory anyway~
