Dr. Phil, I had a violent, abusive alcoholic father, too. I became a Christian at age 5 and I went to church by myself at 5:00 am came home and put my PJs back on and slept until I was awakened.

The reason people keep quiet is on the local, close level. At work, in the neighborhood. It has been amazing to me throughout my working life the amount of people overly concerned about what others say and do and the need to hash out why and more detrimental to feel the need to “tell on you” to the boss or at least someone who has sufficient pull to derail others. Now with the true over the top craziness, especially since Covid, it is scary. If you don’t speak woke….watch out. Be prepare. As Christians, we don’t backdown or fear, but it’s still sad. Thank you Dr Phil and many others in the public forum for standing up firm!!

Thank you Dr. Phil. I agree with everything you have said. I'm not afraid to speak up in fact I have. I don't care if they cancel me. Our schools in our little towns in Indiana didn't close completely for very long. They reopened and did online school then did go back with masks and followed the protocols. We even still had a graduation in the parking lot of our school for one of my granddaughters. I think our schools in the Indiana schools especially did everything right and what they could for our kids given the situation.
