Portfolio Stories: InnoGames

Eight Roads has been investing in amazing fast-growing companies for nearly 50 years. We wanted to shed light on some of our most interesting portfolio stories in the hope that they might inspire and guide others starting out on the journey. The first in the series is German gaming success story, InnoGames. We first invested in 2010, backing three guys who had dropped out of university to build a game and then a business. It’s a story of tenacity and family ties, and a reminder that great companies can start out in unusual places.
