7:41 early adopters of this game arent just in college, minecraft was growing when i was a sophmore in HS and im 28yo now and some of my friends already have kids. Minecraft spans generations

I went to go watch this movie with a group of friends at 7:30 and the theater was packed, no kids in sight however, just 20 year olds or older

5:18 I'm agree with Rob on that point.

Also, another thing is that I'm think the other reason why people (and kids) want to see the movie not because some of them grew up with the game, knowing the easter eggs & references, what Kris is saying, but, also, it's because most people want to see a light-hearted but a fun movie that don't take seriously, and get away from the real-world.

Overall, I'm do think it's still gonna have legs for this weekend and next weekend (which is Easter) because there are not much kids/family films till May when Lilo & Stitch is coming out (that won't come out till the 23rd of next month). Not only that, you got Sinners (which is a adult-oriented supernatural horror film starring Michael B Jordan), that definitely not children, but both of those films will do well as well.

I think it'll hold through at least Easter weekend. Most schools have Friday, if not Monday off, so even taking Easter Sunday out completely, there's still plenty of time to take your kids to the movie.

In my theater Minecraft has sold out 9 showings in a row from Fri-Sunday. The most sold out in the 5 years I have been there was Endgame with 3 in a row sold out if i remember correctly. Maverick sold out 3 in a row as well.
