City's 1-0 lead at Old Trafford was reversed when Bruno Fernandes curled home, only for Rashford to score three minutes later - although the initial goal was overshadowed by controversy.

Rashford did not make any contact with any other players throughout the move, but he actually made an obvious attempt to get onto the end of the pass.

Guardiola believes Rashford was interfering with City defender Manuel Akanji's defensive run, which would put him offside under the rules.

It's not a VAR problem, it's a subjective problem. The question is, did Rashford affect the play? I said yes, then it's offside. This happens with or without VAR. Refs need to be consistent, if offside player follows the ball then it's called an offside.
