Meet Henry the hero dog

A Boston terrier from Connecticut is being credited with saving the life of a baby girl. ABC News’ Will Ganss has the heroic details.

Someone dumped a stray on my road about a year ago. She’s been the best dog. I can’t imagine life without her now. 💕 so happy your baby girl is ok

Good dog. Many years ago my dog saved my life and possibly the lives of others in our building. It begins with someone sneaking into my apartment and snapping the gas valves on my stove and leaving (I found this out later from authorities). I was sound asleep and likely would have died from gas exposure, but my Dog woke me up, clawing at my arms and even my face, barking, etc. Once I was awake (but somewhat dizzy from the gas) I realized what was going on, got the dog the cat and myself out of the apartment and called 911. The dog never disturbed my sleep like that except on that occasion, he knew something was terribly wrong and saved the day.

Dogs are amazing. My mom ( she used to train and show dogs) taught me a long time ago that if a dog is acting unusual then something is not right. I had an English bulldog that was the friendliest dog ever. Except for one person in my neighborhood. He was over the top protective when he saw this guy. Turns out that 6 months later the guy was convicted of a horrible double homicide.

Henry is just doing what any dog would do for their human, love us more than themselves. Boston terriers are so sweet, fun and smart. ❤️dog ❤️men’s best friend is an understatement.

I live one town over from this family! My mom has a Boston named Bruin. They are the coolest and sweetest dogs.

Henry deserves a good meal!
Similar thing happen to my good friend. Her English Bull dog, who ppl
though that Bull Dogs are not smart were wrong. Their dog woke the parents up barking fiercely at the stairs at 6 am and would not stop barking even being told to stop. Sure enough then their baby’s crib mattress monitor went off and the parents ran upstairs. The parents cleared the baby’s nose of mucous and lifted him up. The baby regained color again. Their baby had a bad cold.
