Hi jonny, can I point out that it works out to £0.02 per month not £0.2 per month. 0.03 x 0.65 = 0.02, not 0.2. Sorry just wanted to point this out because some people may be watching this thinking that the storage fee is really expensive but it is actually much cheaper than that.

Fantastic video. Thank you Jonny. Just a small suggestion. I think it would be beneficial to wrap up this video with a visual example of a product at its buying price, then incorporating all these costs, then coming up with a profit margin and a selling price so the viewers can see how the product price and costs evolve from start to finish. Or it could be an idea for the next video.

Hey, can I generate my own barcodes for my products? I have a label maker and you can add the numbers, I'm just unsure of duplication with products that are already on amazon, thanks in advance for your help 😊

are there calculators out there that let you input dimensions, weight etc...to give costs to determine whether you want to offer a 1, 2, or 3 pack?

Great presentation - thank you!! But I am still unclear about the costs of FBA. Does the Amazon Rate Card include the cost of postage and packaging? I will have 36 items packed in one box but will be selling perhaps 1 item per buyer. Will Amazon make any extra charge other than the amount they state on their Rate Card for that size / weight of a single product? I am not referring to storage or commission / referral - I know about those.

Hi Jonny, thanks for the video, really informative. Thank you also for including details on VAT here, not a lot of people include it. I have a query, I'm selling a product for £16.99, after all Amazon fee, marketing costs and cost of production I end up with a profit of roughly £5 but then VAT is charged and I end up with a profit of around £1.5. Is this normal? I feel if I increase my price further I'll be pushed out of the market. Can I claim this VAT back since I paid import Tax and other taxes along the way or do I just need to cut costs somewhere?
