Everything you need, nothing you don’t. The gear we use really does matter as many of us are live performers, hobby jammers, we don’t need to arrange professional tracks, we just wanna have some fun playing some tunes! And the gear you use def adds to the experience!

I use the launchpad app by Novation to make music. I start with a blank slate, I don't just play the soundpacks. But I'm hyper critical of myself and say "Im not really cooking. I'm just using an app" But this inspired me and let me know the tools are only as good as the person using them. You can make a hit with a stick if you got enough juice.

You’re killing it with the iPad. I got a similar set up, but my audio interface is a focus right nothing along the lines of SSL and my speakers. Well, let’s just say their speakers they’re nowhere near anything like what you have but I do have a launch key mini and a launchpad Pro
