Well she's 23 and very talented. She's from Basilicata (Region between Tyrrhenian and ionian seas) and she's bringing that spicy southern Italy vibe in the contest. The sound base is cheerful and catchy, based on Colombian cumbia, but the lyrics are definitely not shallow or flippant, on the contrary.
Pain and suffering dance together with pleasure and joy, but it is not a heavy burden to bear. As Angelina seems to want to tell us, it is the emptiness of boredom that weighs down, while the richness of life lightens.

La canzone ha un testo molto profondo. C'è un contrasto tra il ritmo allegro e il significato delle parole. La noia, intesa come depressione, malore, per le prove orrende a cui la vita ti sottopone. Lo può capire bene chi, come Angelina, ha perso una persona cara troppo presto ( il padre è morto quando aveva 12 anni).
La canzone è un inno alla gioia e alla voglia di vivere anche per chi come lei porta il dolore nel cuore, per la doppia fatica che deve fare per dimostrare di essere brava e non solo la figlia di due celebrità ( entrambi i genitori erano cantanti famosi in italia)

Please make a reaction to "La rondine". Its her father's song. He died 10 years ago, during his own concert. Angelina was 13 yo and she was there attending his concert. He died of heart attack while singing. La Rondine talks about a person who is gone.. and she wanted to remember his father in Sanremo, in the cover/duets evening. ❤

Voglio solo aggiungere che la canzone è stata scritta da Lei (Angelina Mango) e da un'altra ragazza molto giovane Madame (nome d'arte) entrambe di 22 anni.

Angelina Mango is a young emerging Italian singer with great artistic talent passed down from her parents, both amazing singers. Father Pino Mango unfortunately passed away prematurely during a concert, he was not only a great singer and a great poet but a wonderful person with a unique voice. I advise you to see the video of the song "la Rondine" (with English subtitles) sung by her father and then the one sung by Angelina as a cover at the last Sanremo Festival and dedicated to her father himself, a Festival which Angelina then won with song 'Boredom'.
