Thanks man and hi from Port Moresby. Every country has its bad apples, but I hope your brief stay here proves that Papua New Guineans are not as bad as mainstream or social media may show. Being born in 1975, I can say that especially the new generation are adapting to modernisation and corruption has played a part in the education system lagging a bit resulting in values being compromised and shown in attitudes like littering.

Otherwise thanks for the videos and God bless India also.

Cheers

18:00 The Wallace and Weber lines are imaginary dividers used to mark the difference between species found in Australia and Papua New Guinea and Southeast Asia. This is especially apparent when considering the difference in mammals between the two regions.

This is a story from may be 1960's. One of my relatives was working in the UN and was sent to Papua New Guinea to study and recommend a good communication network for the place and to make a detailed report. They were in a coastal village, and they did not dare venture into the interior. This was as narrated to him by us.
A few days ago, some Christian missionaries had sailed into the interior to spread the word of the gospel. They had not returned and later it was found out that these missionaries were killed and eaten away by the tribals.

So when asked what those people would do with a communication network (those were the days of the telegraph), he used to say:

They can always telegraph:
"Missionaries good (stop) send some more (stop).

He was there for a couple of months, along with his colleagues and none of them dared cut their hair or shave during the period.
He said that there was a barber in that village, sitting under a tree. He carried a large sword for his profession, and that is it!

Parmvir, you experience chewing, Betelnut . In India, chewing of betelnut pan with Tabbaco is a common practice in many different parts of our great country. Raw Betelnut with PAN is offered as traditional welcome in Assam. In Bengal pan, chewing is considered as good habit for digestive processes .
