I am using a Viva V29 for the past 7 months and I must admit one thing. Their monthly updates are perfectly received and minor bugs are resolved giving more polished user interface month on month 🎉

It feels great when brands listen to customer feedback. *I'm thrilled that Vivo has addressed almost all the drawbacks I mentioned earlier in the V30 Pro.*

Here's my old comment that i made on V30 Pro:

I have some suggestions for the successor of V30 Pro (V31 Pro), please convey them to Vivo:
1. At this price, *IP68* rating is a must.
2. Since it's not a performance phone, it should have *Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio (dual stereo speakers)* for an immersive entertainment experience.
3. *USB 2.0* in a 42k₹ device is unacceptable.
4. If all cameras are 50MP, that's okay, but they should support *4K 60fps. Camera switching during video recording should be seamless, * without any noticeable lag when switching between ultra-wide, main, and telephoto cameras.
5. *Haptics* should be of good quality.

Vibration intensity is way too low on V40 Pro on incoming calls and notifications. Other problem no option to increase it

Hardware-wise Vivo is topnotch in innovation but it needs to amp up its software game. Overall, V40 kinda promising
