I remember the moment, as a child, standing in a department store in Glasgow, looking at a slide of the Earth from outer space. I asked questions like, where’s Glasgow, where’s Scotland, where’s the British Isles? Every time I got the answer, down there somewhere. It was a small ball among the stars. Somewhere down there was me, so small, like an ant, no, smaller than an ant, like a grain of sand. The whole thing blew my little mind. It changed the way I viewed life, the universe and everything. Leaded Gasoline was banned because of how they saw Earth from the Moon. They were able to see the effects of leaded Gasoline from a distance. Wow. Mind blown. 🤯

Aviation Fuel still contains lead.

I was born in 1975 and started driving in 1990. My 1970 Ford F100 ran on regular leaded gas. And yes the pumps were still around for years after that too.
