I've seen many people criticizing Neil D. Tyson and doubting his credential/expertise, but I think we have to appreciate the hard work and passion he puts into the mission creating conscience about the importance of science as the main tool for humankind advance and development.

I remember the moment, as a child, standing in a department store in Glasgow, looking at a slide of the Earth from outer space. I asked questions like, where’s Glasgow, where’s Scotland, where’s the British Isles? Every time I got the answer, down there somewhere. It was a small ball among the stars. Somewhere down there was me, so small, like an ant, no, smaller than an ant, like a grain of sand. The whole thing blew my little mind. It changed the way I viewed life, the universe and everything. You don’t have to be a cosmologist to have the universe give you a gob smack moment.

And now rich people can also go into low Earth orbit. We've made such huge progress

I wonder how he feels seeing the actual earth. An UNDOCTERED image of earth?🤔
Terror is what I felt. The earth is SUPER FRAGILE. It’s really got an egg shape! Almost as if the weight of the earth rolling on its axis can possibly BREAK IT. Appreciate EVERY SECOND.🥺🫣🤫

You can't convince me man has been to the moon, simply because in 50 years even with better tech it has not happened again.

Japan was the first country to ban lead gasoline. Everybody followed THEIR example, not America's.

Apollo 8 is so important because that's what really happened. No man has been to, or on, the moon. EVER.

Leaded Gasoline was banned because of how they saw Earth from the Moon. They were able to see the effects of leaded Gasoline from a distance. Wow. Mind blown. 🤯

Leaded fuel was only banned for automobiles & trucks.
Aviation Fuel still contains lead.

I was born in 1975 and started driving in 1990. My 1970 Ford F100 ran on regular leaded gas. And yes the pumps were still around for years after that too.
