In this video we install the Air Lift Wireless One onboard air compressor that manages the air pressure in our Air Lift 1000 air bags. This system is installed on the rear suspension of our 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Check out the playlist for the video showing the air bag installation.

I think I would have mounted this inside the trunk where the jack is stored. I have a factory sub woofer, but if you don't there is also a space on the other side of the trunk. I drive through water that is high enough to get to that pump. At the very least I would run the air intake up higher.

I just looked up the cost of that pump, WOW its expensive. The air bags are very affordable but the pump is a luxury you'd have to use a lot to justify.

Interesting install. Couple things. 1) I thought I saw someone do this without having to remove the coil springs in order to get the bag inserted inside the spring? 2) 30 psi seems like a lot. Does the manual say anything about expected psi to get things level? Again, I thought I'd seen someone somewhere saying they firmed up the ride with a lot lower psi, ie 5-8 psi. Lastly, you should have stripped that pink wire down and put it on a new fuse on the fuse block. Great video overall. Thank you for sharing the installation experience!
