I love the fact that Babu thinks that Victoria is still our Queen 🤣

As someone from the US who watches every single one of these videos, it's a shame that so many great videos like this often get less views than clickbait style ones where the villagers are just trying super exotic or strange food. Their reactions to people outside their culture and learning more about the world are always my favorite.

Over 40 years ago I was in India, we drove past an Indian Army Camp, on a grassed area a massive cavalry regiment was parading
I will never forget the sight, it was stunning, the cavalry men were in khaki, the horses were beautiful, it was absolutely amazing.. just as impressive as the Trooping of the Colour.

They might enjoy seeing the wedding of Prince William and Catherine in Westminster Cathedral. Especially when the bride arrives through the streets & walks down the aisle so they can see the city, people and building well. Catherine had beautiful trees put in the aisle of the cathedral which they might also be fascinated by, as well as her lovely wedding dress and tiara. Then the amazing scenes at the end in the horse drawn carriages back to the palace.

This was one of Britain's guards regiments, there are five the Grenadier, Coldstream (English), Scots, Welsh, Irish guards. They have the privilege of guarding the Queen. When not on ceremonial duties they are highly trained front-line combat infantry.
The headgear is called a bearskin and as the name suggest is made from the fur of bears.

What always makes me feel humble, is the genuine honesty and respect that the villagers show in all of the videos. A respect shown not just to the content but also to each other and the gentleman who often interprets and explains the content. We in the so-called 'Developed West' could, and should, learn a lot from these 'un-educated third-worlders'.
Many thanks for these wonderful videos.

Given the history between Britain and India it was interesting to hear and see the Villagers react to Trooping the Colors. It would be interesting to see the Villagers react to more videos on British culture.

To explain the hats.
This style of hat was common for grenadiers (soldiers who threw grenades) around the Napoleonic era, they wore big hats made from bear fur to keep grenades dry from rain, it also makes them appear larger and intimidating, eventually the fashion of bear skin hats become very common.

Thank you for appreciating this, these soldiers are also combat troops. They do both ceremonial and combat. There are full videos of the parade available as well.

Bless these wonderful, joyful people. They don't have a single bad bone in their bodies. Just full of awe and interest about other parts of the world, other foods, other customs. Long may they stay as they are.

You should do a more in-depth on the queen, the crown jewels, the various palaces..
Maybe also show Mohammed Abdul Karim and Queen Victoria's great affection for her royal attendant...

I love learning alongside these guys! I love you all who make these videos for us! Thank you all for such hard work. 🖤💖

The Queen, Elizabeth, is now 94 years old!! She became Queen at age 21, when her father, The King, died. He was King George 5th. Yes, hats made from Bear skins. And Babu was correct; the style of jacket is from Jhodpur!!👍👍👍❣❣❣ Very nice Vid!!🥰

Also for their information, every member of the Guards trooping there has a fully loaded and battleready rifle. The Guns in the Show are not mock-ups.

Damn I'm seeing this a lot now. Anyways great vid but there are some Indians in the comment section blabbing about the Indian attrocities.

And to that I say to all the Brits that Indians aren't generally this bad. You know how there are bad apples amongst a good batch. Yeah it's the same thing. And I also say that hate the individual not the country.

If let's say a [insert person of some random country here] did something bad to us. Hold the person responsible. Not the country.

My father used to wear one of those 'big hats' when he was in the Coldstream Guards in this ceremony..

You are right Babu! the Koh-i-Noor diamond was part of the crown jewels worn by Queen Elizabeth at her coronation in 1953.
