There's a coffee shop the next town from me that has a menu that says "just a coffee" "a normal coffee with milk" "one of those frothy coffees" "I don't know what I want (probably a latte)" "a coffee that isn't a coffee (hot chocolate?) etc, it's fantastic

The amount of times someone has ordered a double shot lactose free latte extra hot and then taken someone else's hot chocolate that's just been called out is ridiculous 😂

Once I had a customer come in and say “I want my latte hotter than the heat of a thousand suns” and so I literally steamed his milk until the wand wouldn’t work anymore and I had to double cup his drink. He said it STILL WASNT HOT ENOUGH.
