The real hero is Jesus! I have resonated so much with this song:I've been the object of numerous people's hate, felt alone, been betrayed, labelled words I truly can't say, suffered in silence for 6 years, gone through depression, thought this life wasn't worth it and had suicidal thoughts, felt imprisoned by unforgiveness and couldn't sleep because of fear of nightmares and not waking up the next day and being able to fix things. I have tried to be the hero and do things the best I could however everything I did seemed to be wrong and I dug myself deeper and deeper into a hole I couldn't escape alone in the first place. I wasted 6 whole years + of my life in fear and worsening the situation every time I tried something. However, the only thing that worked was crying out to Jesus, telling him and even screaming, crying all of my pain and every failed attempt to make things right. I felt a huge peace which I had not felt in that long time, I was able to forgive the person that wronged me and felt their forgiveness too and for almost a month I have been completely free!

In conclusion, being my own hero did not work, but was overwhelming and worsened my life every time without fail. Jesus is the answer, the hero, your healer, counsellor, the truth, the way and the one who will give you a new life.
