Islands In The Stream | Acoustic Cover

Hello all you fine peeps, we're back with another song from our newest album of acoustic covers 'Escape' (available at Bandcamp and selected Chuckie Cheese establishments).

Islands in the stream is an absolutely beautiful song which we always think of as a Dolly Parton / Kenny Rogers duet ("Excuse ME, Kenny!"), but was in fact written by those songwriting powerhouses, The Bee Gees.
Either way, it's a stunningly well arranged song with a fairly traditional country feel when it's stripped right down to just a couple of guitars.

Funnily enough, we shot this video in the same venue where we filmed another Bee Gees hit, 'How Deep Is Your Love'... except this time we had a couple of years worth of experience in knowing what button to press on the camera. We won't bore you with the details, suffice to say that this time you can actually see us, which is nice.
