Monday sees Paul putting up various different types of bean frames, on which he will grow different varieties of climbing beans... all happens amidst showers which are the name of the game this coming week...; Tuesday Paul has some sad news about Fenella, and sows some Tender & True Parsnips and Nantes, Lunar White and London Market Carrots in memory of her... all in the raised bed she liked so well; Wednesday Paul decides to tidy up the growing area of the polytunnel, and talks a little more of how he will mend the lid of the little wooden growhouse; Thursday is a brief visit, and a little surprise in the shed... and outside too!; Saturday is again a brief visit, with a bit of waffling in the shed; and with a Work Party at the plot on Sunday Paul talks a little of the jobs done during the morning, and also how the hardneck variety of Garlic, Porcelain Music, is developing scapes and how you leave them and have as a delicacy in an omelette.

Paul's series 'A Week at the Plot' is his mini vlogs of what he's been up to at the plot each week; little and often, and all about gardening, what's growing, being sown, harvested, enjoyed and much more at our UK No Dig allotment in West London.

All the bean poles up are a lovely sight....I always think it's the stage in the year when everything is set to go, yay! Ach, so horribly sad to hear about may her bed be lovely memories of her curled up sleeping, totally happy and safe in your garden, beautiful girl. XXX carrot/Fenella bed looks gorgeous! Though I'm sure Felicity and Brush will make their presence known before too long. ❤ Awww, and then they find it rather comforting to know they are about somewhere. Those Eschscholzia are a joy! Hahahaha - I LOVE that moment when you spot the first bean up, yay!!! Oooh, thank you for the reminder to check for Your garden is looking so fabulously lush this drier week to come. 😊

Bless you Paul, so sad you've lost Fenella. Sounds like she had a long and happy fox life and your plot was safe for her.

OOOh, waffles..now I am hungry. Sorry about Fenella. What a privilege to have had her trust all those years but I know that animals know a kind spirit and that is clearly your nature Paul. Garden looking very smart! Quite the honeymoon spot for the frogs.:}

Oh, Paul, I'm so sorry to hear of Fenella's passing. I'm sure her spirit will remain to oversee the plot and her children will still know they have a safe and loving environment to live in.

One of the things I really like about these videos is that you are not afraid of sharing your joys and sadnesses with us. I am sad about Fenella, she was part of your plot and I will miss her appearances as a co-star! It was good of Richard’s dad to give you a car, what an adventure to come up north to fetch it! I get excited if I get out of our village at the moment.

Paul, I know that pulling at your heart strings feeling. We had to put both of our older female dogs down the same day back in January for health reasons. One we had for 15 years. My heart was broken and I cried all weekend. A big hug to you. Ken

Hello Paul, I am so sorry about Fennela. 🥺
It is nature, but that doesn’t mean that when they touch our hearts and if we have tender hearts they don’t shatter into million pieces when they leave us.
I have never met you or Fennela and here I am, all the way around the world and my heart just broke for you.
I remember the video where I commented that she had made her self at home on your bed. I’m glad you decided to plant in her memory. Hugs!💗

Sorry to hear about Fenella, I’m glad she lived in an area where she was accepted, appreciated and not vilified as foxes often are 💚

You are a lovely soul Paul. Fenella knew it, which is why she felt so comfortable in your presence. She was safe and content. Thank you.
