Just wanted to ask you what you think, is the middle stepper motor too loud, is it a sign of a problem and do you recommend to send it back? Please let me know in the comments.
I've tried swapping the motor driver but that doesn't change, the same motor makes about 3dB (twice) as much noise.
Thanks for your time!

Hoe is het afgelopen? Geld terug of gebruik je die middelste stappenmotor? Heb zelf deze set ook gekocht. Binnenkort krijg ik die.

Sounds OK to me, You might find because the stepper work from a High Magnetic field that the stepper in the middle is feeling the effects of the outer 2 steppers field and that could make the center one sound different. Move them apart and listen to them. Stepper motors are always using full Amps even when they aren't moving unless they have the Half current switch while Idle. Current is the holding force of the stepper and if the stepper is set to half current than the holding force will be Half of Rated force when in idle. The speed is controlled by the voltage value. Taking the impedance value of the stepper motor and (√ Squared) it out and multiplying by 32 will give you the Maximum voltage that can be used with the Stepper motor. Like example: 3.0 mH √ ‭1.732050807568877‬ X 32 =‭55.42562584220407‬ . So a stepper with 3mH impedance would have a top voltage of 55 volts.

@MakerCentral hello, I'm interested in buying some nema 23 23HS45-4204S, Bipolar Stepper, 1.8 deg, 3.0Nm (425oz.in), 4.2A, but I do not know if I buy them, I have some ball screw, diameter 16mm and pitch 10 (1610), and no I know how fast they will be to work with woods and with what controllers, could you inform me a bit better ?.
