Just watched your review on 'Mix Baby' yarn and wanted to say that I am knitting this into a form of lap blanket for a senior who has Alzheimer's. They tend to fidget a lot with their hands and I figured the different textures would be calming. I also plan to attach different things like pockets, braided yarn, buttons, etc. I found knitting this yarn much easier than crochet. I have both knitted and crocheted with homespun and went up at least one size of hook or needles. Did not have too much difficulty but heavens don't try to unravel your work. Loved your review and the granny square stitch is an excellent idea.

I'm glad you showed this now I know exactly what it's like before I go to buy it. Most of my baby items I use caron's simply soft which I hate! it splits too much, but it is so soft. This appears to be a nice soft yarn. Thank you for showing this. I also just watched your video on blocking, I also use the same "floor tiles, " from Harbor Freight. My husband loves this store, and the "floor tiles, " are less expensive at Harbor Freight than anywhere else. Have a great day.
