Overwatch 2 All Hero Select Voice Lines Overwatch 1 Comparisons

People have already shown the voice lines but not all of them. So I'd thought "eh why not" and showcase all of them"

Bastions new voicelines are so profound. You can really tell how his way of thinking has changed, and he's become rather poetic. Whoever wrote his voicelines is truly a master philosopher.

that “I play to win” is just so iconic to me that i don’t think it’ll ever feel right to not hear it

I love how Roadhog is just a continuation from his last statement "I'm a one man Apocalypse" into "Apocalypse ain't over." I kinda wish the other heroes had lines like that where they built off the old ones.

I appreciate they removed all of Brigitte's "Newbie" voicelines. "I will prove myself" becomes "Breaking me down just builds me up". "Beginner's Luck" is now "I love doing that!". She has lines like "Practice Pays Off!". It shows a time jump within her character lines and I really appreciate that.

Most of the old voicelines were the heroes' personal mottos, which are generally vague statements that express the personality or background of the character.

Many of the voice lines are like "Let's go fight the bad guys!😀"

Not all of the voicelines are like this, but I think this is why the new voicelines are a little controversial.

I wish they didn't take out Orisa's little jingle/chime when she turns on. It was nostalgic for me and reminds me of playing her when she first released on those hot summer days when I didn't wanna go outside. such a cool sound.

I'm extremely shocked that they removed "Cheers, love! The cavalry's here!". While it's not the deepest voice line, it's definitely the most recognizable one.

Ana's one is easily the best, it has so much depth into the lore and it makes so much sense for Ana's character. I love it!

I love how Roadhog’s first is him saying he’s the Apocalypse, and then the second quote is him saying the Apocalypse ain’t over. As if telling the crew he hasn’t kicked the bucket just yet. Or that he’s going to give them more hell. Either way, it’s beautiful.
