Here's a gem to avoid getting you "rain video" demonitized. During editing every 15 minutes add text to your video. I add a timestamp on screen so if someone wakes up and glances at the screen they can see how long they been sleep. This is so you don't get demonitized for looping

FYI, the new monetization policies make very difficult to monetize a channel when you use someone else's videos or images. Even if they are free to use. YouTube will say that your channel has "reused content" and it would be a nightmare to try to monetize. Use your own footage, and music to be able to get approved for monetization when creating content 👍🏻

I literally cannot sleep without one of these on in the background before I go to sleep. My favourite one is rain sound with the forest of dead trees in the background. It’s a soft rain and the forest is dark so it’s very relaxing puts me to sleep in literally five minutes.

Actually, they are demonetizing so many of these channels for looping content aka "reused content." So don't start this unless you can use your own rain footage, your own sounds with random sounds, be onscreen typing, studying with sounds in background thrown in occasionally. Otherwise, they'll say you looped a 30 second clip up to 8 hrs and demonetize you.
