Ukraine President Zelenskyy: The war is a big disaster

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to the people of Ukraine to stay calm and indoors if possible after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced he had authorised a “special military operation” in the country’s east on Thursday.
"Dear Ukrainians, this morning President Putin annonced military operations in Donbas," said Zelenskyy.
"We have introduced marital law. Today, we need you to be calm, if possible stay at home.
"The war is a big disaster, and this disaster has a high price."
