I just finished listening to Daisy Jones and the Six. It was the first Taylor Jenkins Reid book I've read. It was absolutely worth the hype. The full cast did a fantastic job.

I recently finished reading Tress and I agree with what you said about wanting to love it but was still a little skeptical. I’ve not read much Sanderson(yet)but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

--I have checked out Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries from the library and am looking forward to reading it.
--I have read part of Parable of the Sower, but did not finish it. I think I just wasn't in the right headspace at the time (as you said, it felt real), and maybe it deserves another chance.
--That cover for Tress of the Emerald Sea is so unbelievable gorgeous. Still need to get into the Cosmere (started Mistborn and was quite enjoying it, but life got in the way).

Did u read fourth wing??? I never read tiktok books but it was available as an audible on my library and I was stunned! I literally wanted to reread it right after. It gave me that same feeling as a kid when reading hunger games, Harry Potter. Just reminded me why I loved reading!!

3:01 Totally agree! TT&T did something I wish more novels did… as I was reading, my creative itch level spiked to 10! I love a novel that portrays making things in such a way that you as the reader are inspired to try something new or to pick up your tools and create again. 🎨 There are others that gave me similar vibes, but it wasn’t central to the story like TT&T. 2 that come to mind are The Time Traveler’s Wife and Little Fires Everywhere.

I enjoyed A.J. Fikry better. I think the only reason why I didn't give Tomorrow cubed 5 stars was I frustrated with some of the choices of our MCs. That being said, I loved some of the stylistic literary devices she incorporated in some of the sections
