500' Helicopter Drop Test, Plus Explosives! The Ultimate Gun Safe Torture Test

We’re never done testing the durability and security of our products here at Liberty Safe. That’s why we decided to take this torture test to the next level with a sky-high helicopter drop. We took two safes—one of ours, and one of our competitor’s—and dropped them from a helicopter. Then, just before they hit the ground, we detonated some explosives to try and get each safe’s door to open. Then we let gravity do the rest. We even added some ground explosives as fanfare.

I have a liberty safe so don't think I'm talking bad about them. But you can see at 0:47 that they blew the safe with something before it hits the ground. Not saying liberty safes are bad at all. I own one, just saying this test looks set up.

Just curious.... why was the Liberty safe dropped in water when the other was on dry land? And at 1:15 you can clearly see the water shoot up like a splash just before the safe what’s up with that?
