Vojtech Hradec and Jakub Stancl both recorded three goals and two assists as Czechia scored a total of 14 goals in their win over Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Brother it was out of hand 4 or 5 goals ago. Lol. But with a tourney like this, goal differential matters. So body bagging them is kind of part of the strategy. Sucks to see that other goalie get absolutely mollywhopped though.

I mean, lets ignore KAZ's goalie's 0.500 save percentage and give him props for starting that rotation that got KAZ a goal

Kinda felt bad for Kazakhstan’s golies but Czechia seems very strong

The first time I had the opportunity to be in Kaz; being Canadian, I was pleased to meet someone in the hockey program here. I asked how the country did internationally, and was told they don’t win because they compete as individuals. Watching the highlights here, that’s exactly what was wrong. They collapsed in front, no one took a man, they just added to the goalie’s troubles by blocking his sight. Or being something to bounce pucks off. The point at which you stop a play is not five feet into the house. Feeling bad for the team won’t change anything. They have the basics, yes, what they lack is a concept of team. They don’t work together as a unit. If there is anything that frustrates me living here it’s that everyone, I meet seems to think they know everything worth knowing. Everyone is a master in their own mind? That’s why you guy play hockey the way you do. In life you win together. Being a master at a thing means you can step out beyond the normal confides where creativity happens. Where the structure has become so natural that its no longer constricts movement. Kungfu. Kazakhstan your Kungfu is not strong.

Being a Czech, I’m of course glad our boys won, but can’t help but feel a bit sorry for the Kazakhs here. It’s called a “match” for a reason, but this wasn’t much of a match. I hope those kids can rebuild their confidence somehow, after a thorough rinse like this.

На это просто смотреть без слёз невозможно. Такое ощущение что за сборную Казахстана играют детки "состоятельных" папиков, которые хорошо забашляли за своих сыночков, отбывающих номер в сборной. Вызвали в сборную страны значит нужно "зубами" рваться всех и всё и доказывать что ты чего-то стоишь ...
