“Las” rhymes with “has” in 40K, like in lasguns, laspistols, etc.

They’re lasers, don’t ask me why it doesn’t rhyme with “stays”, but the game is British, what are you gonna do.

“Las” is is pronounced Laz with a hard A sound. Pretty much 40ks version of laser blaster.

I'm like 70% sure you unlock operations after the 1st/2nd mission when you meet your main squad, I'd assume all the missions are unlocked right then as it says playing too far into it would reveal story spoilers, so while story wise it is post campaign you dont have to do all of it just to unlock the mode

Just for some counter info, I didn't need to finish the campaign to get acess to Operations, you can switch over to them much sooner than that, in my experience.
