Boris Johnson calls Sir Keir Starmer 'Sir Beer Korma' during Partygate statement in the Commons

Sir Keir Starmer is failing to hold himself to the same “high standards” that he “demanded of me”, the Prime Minister has said.

Responding to the Labour leader, Boris Johnson told the Commons: “After months of his, frankly, sanctimonious obsession, the great gaseous Zeppelin of his pomposity has been permanently punctured and irretrievably by the revelation that he is himself, he didn’t mention this, he is himself under investigation by the police. And yet, I am not going to mince my words, I am going to say this.

“Sir Beer Korma is currently failing to hold himself to the same high standards that he demanded of me. He called for me to resign when the when the investigation began. Why is he in his place?”

Mr Johnson added: “He is still there and so is the shadow deputy leader. I apologised when the revelations emerged. I continue to apologise, I repeat that I am humbled by what has happened and we instituted profound changes throughout Number 10. But I think in view of the mess that he has found himself in, it would now be a sensible thing for him too to apologise so that we can all collectively move on. That I think is what the people of this country want to see above all.”

This PM is a schoolboy, he's immature and starts name calling which is totally unacceptable. He thinks he's funny but he's not. I'm not a fan of Jeremy Corbyn but for Boris to call him Vladimir Corbyn in the House of Commons and not even asked by the Speaker to withdraw that remark is absolutely disgusting.

What a weak and petty response. Starmer was doing his job, eating at his desk while Johnson was partying it up every chance he had. And lets not forget that Johnson is the one who put in the rules, not Starmer. I'd say Johnson should resign if he had any decency or integrity, but we all know that neither Johnson or the Tories as a whole have either.

They took the piss out of the security staff who attempted to warn against the bacchanalia.

They left the cleaners to mop up the vomit.

They sniggered to each other on WhatsApp about how they’d got away with it.

This is nauseating..

I will support the Labour Party.
Labour are the party of the people. Labour are a centre left party.

It is the far right who see the ordinary British people as a criminals and parasites.
Boris has described the British working class as drunk, criminal and hopeless.
Boris also allowed a poem in his magazine that called for extermination of the Scots.

I've never heard someone say that sentence before, nor hardly any of those words 0:07

Was Johnson not the President of the Oxford Union, lauded for his debating skills? Now he's just a rather sad name-caller, with obviously badly rehearsed put downs that, unfortunately, only appeal to his enablers on the Tory benches!

Boris accusing someone else of pomposity. Now that's really saying something.

It's like listening to a 5 year old name calling in a playground. Is it too much to ask for the people we elect to run the country to behave like mature adults?
