I don't collect Pokemon cards, but I love any of the artwork that shows just them living their lives. The first one that always comes to mind is the one of the Ralts line with the family. Ralts as their trainer moves in to a new house with their partner. Kirlia looking at the trainer's new baby. Gardevoir sitting with their trainer that's probably around grandmother-ish age? Its so damn wholesome. If only Pokemon were real. :sob:

I love the idea of a Charizard with the mentality of a big dog who still thinks it’s a puppy.
Big guy trying to get in your lap insistently despite being WAYYYY too big and heavy, trying to be as gentle as possible and play with a baby pokemon, getting uncharacteristically scared of a vaporeon (like how some dogs get scared of cats despite being MUCH bigger than them). Zoomies might accidentally land him in another region though if you’re not looking.

Gods I love the lil slice of life cards showing Pokemon hanging out with people. Just, regular people. No big fancy battles, no dramatic poses, just the family whimsicott being a pillow for a kid, tinkaton playing golf a bit *too* enthusiastically, Sabeleye carrying groceries home in the dark. All that kinda stuff. It's a part of the world rarely seen in the games, but really emphasises the unique relationships between humans and these funny lil creatures.
