It doesn't matter what the better hypothetical option is, one can't simply choose what they believe based on that alone
And regardless, nothing here leads you to the Christian God in particular

If you need the promise of eternity with a fake mythical being to make your life worth living, then your own mental state is to blame, not atheists. Knowing that there is no rhyme or reason to the universe or some thing in the sky with a grand plan that includes child cancer is exactly what gives my life meaning because it's my choice to give my own life meaning.

First of all, it doesn’t have any objective meaning, and the fact that you don’t like it, doesn’t make it any less of a reality. Second of all, you can make your own meaning in life. And that meaning can change over time. Life is valuable because it’s finite. It seems what I do on earth far less meaningful if there’s a better place afterwards that lasts forever. That infinite life supersedes this one. Not that I would want to live forever, as I’d eventually get bored of being alive after a millions years or so.

The magical assertions you've been repeating for thousands of years are no more convincing to me than they have ever been. consider this atheism reigning victorious over theism, at least in this atheist's case.
