In this video, I walk you through the key steps to take if you’re considering postgraduate (PG) medical education in Germany after completing your MBBS in India. I begin by discussing the tough competition in India’s medical entrance exams and why Germany might be a good alternative for some of you. I break down the German system and explain what Facharztausbildung (specialist training) is, and why it’s vital if you’re aiming to specialize in fields like surgery or cardiology.

I also talk about the essentials, like learning German and getting your medical license—both are must-haves to start your training. If you’re wondering about the money side, I explain what you can expect to earn during your training and share tips on how to maximize it. I include some of my personal experiences and give practical advice to help you navigate the whole process smoothly.

If you’re serious about moving your medical career to Germany, this video is packed with helpful insights. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more practical tips like these. Your support really helps me keep creating content that guides you on your journey!

Hello sir, my case is a peculiar one. I am a medical graduate. Passed my MBBS final year in 2017. After that i joined internship and took a break to prepare for USMLE exam, which requires us not to complete the internship. Due to some health and financial issues i got caught up and couldn’t write the exam in time and when i did booked the date to write the exam, lockdown happened, i myself contracted covid and grieved the deaths in family. After the pandemic, i lost hopes on my exam and resumed my internship, i completed it in 2023 and received my original degree and permanent registration. So now the issue is, I want to do PG in Germany, but now i have 5 years gap in my CV, as i took long time to complete my internship. I cannot acquire a work experience, even though i worked part time with my temporary registration, as no one gives me because i recently got the permanent registration of degree. Now i am in dilemma and in need of your advice. Please guide me, if i can apply for visa now or should i drop the idea. Thank you.
