Great video. This has been very helpful. That boss loop station pedal is the business.

Very helpful, thanks!
Now, what i need is how to get rid of statics hum and noise. I know what my problem is; my ground is actually not true ground, (the third wire, ) but zero wire used as ground!!!
My forearm is aching for a solution!😂
The only tip i got was to bury an old boiler in the ground and connect a wire to it as a ground. I live on the 4th floor, but I'm considering even that!😂😂😂

This was really helpful for what goes where. Just got the JHS and trying to work it into my FX loop along with my looper.

Sorry, im a little slow. Based on your intro comments and the first picture, it looks like the pedal should go at the end of the chain (the end that connects to the amp) but when you play and show your pedals, its hard to tell where its going or it looks like the guitar end. Thanks

I highly recommend the JHS Little Black Box, especially if you're running louder or higher wattage tube amps. Like OP said, it's great for volume control but even better is it allows you to turn your amp volumes up (increasing tube power) so you can still get solid tone while at low volume.

Nice vid!

I'm just upgraded to the rc-5 from rc-1. It seems overwhelming 😮

Very helpful thanks. If your looper has a volume on it, and it's a full bypass pedal, does that work the same as your volume actuator at the end of the fx loop?

Hi Andrew. I play bass and on my pedalboard I have just two pedals: 1) Tech21 Bass Fly Rig (Analog, Preamp with Compressor, Chorus and Octaver) and 2) SONIC IR Loader.
I don't use an amplifier, but from the IR loader i go into the PA.
In your opinion, where should I put the Flamma FS21 Looper/Drum machine? At the very end or before the IR Loader? Thank you.

Thanks for the info about the JHS Black Amp Box. I have the RC-5 Loop Station in my effects loop, and can't adjust the looper's volume from the amp. I really wish BOSS/Roland would release a firmware update that will allow you to keep the default loop volume to wherever you want it set at ( set it and forget it ) for all loops. It's a real pain having to do from the RC-5 menu each time.

I have the Boss ME 90.
It has an effects loop.
It has a single 1/4" input and stereo 1/4" outputs.
I also have the Boss RC 300. It has R / L 1/4" stereo outputs
How would i connect my looper to the ME 90 if the looper is stereo?
Is just the mono connection sufficient?
I'm wanting to loop a dry signal and add / remove effects to experiment with.
How do I achieve this, please?

My ditto looper isn't outputting the loop I put in when I put it at the end? Idk what to do 😢

Is that a compression pedal in the middle?
