Another beautiful video! Although I know the names you mentioned I never really knew the story behind them! I am so impressed with how much information about these wonderful places you share in a 20 min. video! Keep up the awesome work, you have a true talent for making these and bringing them to us!

Wow, Bravo!!!! Wonderful touring presentation.
Envious..
I have friends in Corfu, but never have visited .
Heard is so nice that nobody wants to leave.
It seemed clean, uncrowded and the scenic overlook..Majestic

Beautiful!! What this must've looked and felt like in its heyday.

The song - "The Oracle of Apollo " by Greek composer Vangelis comes to mind.

Brilliant. We visited in 2019 on a one day tour out of Athens. Would love to return in the future and stay in the village of Delphi and explore the sight in a much more leisurely and in depth way

Very interesting polygonal stone wall - it looks much older to me. Also some of the foundations appear older than quoted although not of hugely massive blocks as in other ancient sites - just different stones used and very eroded. Great views and lots of historic content. I have not been to Greece mainland but have seen a few ancient sites on islands, like Knossos, Crete, and Khirokitia, Cyprus. Many thanks for the coverage.

Good job. A very interesting movie. Amazing music.
It is a pity that the presenter did not explain why the 3 columns in Tolos are in two colors (white and gray). They look like spotted cows. Case? Deliberate action? Maybe there is another explanation.
Best regards and thank you for the wonderful old one
story.

I'm waiting for the next movie.

I went to Greece back in 2014; checked out Athens, Crete, and Santorini. Had the time of my life by the three spots I really wanted to go to but my family had no interest so I couldn't was the sacred cave of Zeus, temple of poseidon, and Delphi. I am beyond jealous of you for getting to go here and I'm praying I'll get back out there to see them but until then this video was great to watch. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Like several other videos of yours, I just came across them so my response is quite late. I don't think that I've ever seen so many variations in wall construction at one location. As soon as I've examined the sight of one wall and seen what its character is I'm quickly confronted by another one that is very different, and another one, and another one, all different from each other and sometimes one is on top of another.

It leads one to suspect that building went on for a long time and they used different methods and quality of results... with some being quite crude and some being quite perfected. I saw plenty of evidence of the casting of reconstituted stone in all sorts of structures and objects, all using architectural grand limestone concrete, including restoration work that encased original work. I extracted the evidence I found in 40 screen captures. Someday I'll put them together in an illuminating post but there's a lot of editing work to be done to accomplish that.

Absolutely intriguing. I've read that it's theorized that in antiquity there was a fisure in the stone that emitted a gas. The oracle inhaled the gas, hallucinated and prophecies were given. Btw, there's some pretty redhead that keeps showing up in your videos. 😁😋

I like the Peru reference - there are many similarities to other ancient sites including the peculiar parallel tool marks.

Great video and channel. The bronze serpent column is a copy. The original was moved to Constantinople; remnants remain. The great statue of Athene Promachos, from the Athenian Acropolis was also moved there but completely destroyed in the 15th century. You would enjoy reading Plutarch, who, as you will know, was a priest at Delphi, and gave a guided tour contained in his Moralia. He also records many oracles and other Delphic specific information in that collection of essays. Plutarch makes the site come alive in the most incredible way. Thank you for all your videos. They are tremendous.
