As an 80s castle veteran I was more than happy to purchase the Lion Knights´ Castle, but in this case I´m unsure if it´s special enough to dedicate the required display space for these buildings. Maybe it would be also quite satisfactory to pick up some of the figures on pick-a-brick in a couple of months. But I could change my mind over time.

I will never understand how a senior designer thought bright, highly-saturared red should be placed against olive green. Also shocked they chose a green-brown hue to go criss-cross sandwhiched within olive green, which makes it blend in and takes away from each color, creating a muddy appearance.

I'm not a Lego designer so I don't know what rules they have to work with and specifically what rules had to be followed when designing with this specific set, but as a (not Lego) designer, I'm questioning the justification for many of the odd decisions made with this set.

Edit: I believe the red could work with the green if the green was either more desaturated or also highly saturated (although that would make it completely distract from the rest of the set) and was paired with more black rather than with muddy green-brown.

🌿🏰🌿 It is Interesting, but not Special Set, by any Means Estheticaly it is done in pretty average way, must be a lot better And this set is in high price range We need more sets like this in medium and Low Price Range 🙂🏰👍

how hard is it to have someone go through the instructions and build everything???? it's astonishing how bad the user experience of the manuals are lately. such a shame for, quite frankly, a luxury toy brand

the new 42164 off-road race buggy seems to be a remake of 8437 Future Car from back in 1997 (they have a similar color scheme, both have a V4 engine in the back, their overall shapes are quiet similar, and they both have front wheel steering & rear wheel suspension)

Even though I'm still hoping we'll get a Knights Kingdom (2) callback set at some point, this is still a mighty set for castle enjoyers. Love the colours and overall vibe!
