They are trying to build a solid line with the Batman games. Coming out with a different chapter under a similar name and logo at a high frequency. I hope it works. It should do for batman what movies has done for the marvel universe.

Only thing that kind of sucks about this is that since I don't have a portable, I'm going to miss out on not only a rather awesome Arkham Origins tie-in, but the 'Origins' Catwoman. What can I say, I'm a fan of the character. Seriously though, it's a pity they couldn't bring this to consoles as an arcade/psn download to serve as a kind of pre-launch prequel to the game. Ports to consoles from portables have been done before and the results are always spot on, minus a few tweaks.

It looks like the narrative is going to be similar to arkham asylum, not a complain, i think it's brilliant, i loved all the arkham games to date :)

He's a fresh face in Gotham's among Gotham's criminals at this point, so it's likely that they are over-estimating their ability to control him and underestimating his madness.

This game takes place 3 months after Batman: Arkham Origins so this game should take place in March in the Batman: Arkhamverse timeline.
