In this episode, I travel back to the village I first lived in when I moved to Iceland. Hvolsvöllur is situated on the south coast of Iceland, around 1.5 hours drive from Reykjavik. Most tourists will drive straight through this town with their only stop being the big gas station by the side of the Ring Road. There’s a lot more to this place than meets the eye…

Do you ever do any overnight backpacking trips? Would be cool to see you doing that and to get a glimpse of some awesome gems that I might want to do when I finally get my family to Iceland.

I know too that there are public use cabins. Loved to see more of that as well. Iceland looks like such a magically unique place that is so majestic that it effects the soul and changes you, especially if you can find some incredible place that offers solitude.
