Losing a son or daughter isn't something a parent ever wants to experience. Merrill and Mary Osmond lost their youngest son Troy to an undiagnosed heart condition two years ago. Step inside their grief, their hope, and their will to "Troy" a little harder to help other people.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have lost 2 of my 9 children my oldest daughter 12 years ago, my oldest son on March 6th this year his birthday is November 26th, 1964. It is the hardest thing I have ever gone through. We also lost a grandson January this year.I wouldn’t bring them back to this terrible world. We are so blessed to have them in Heaven with our Heavenly Father . Thank goodness for prayers. This is a time I can say I know what you are going through. I don’t know how people who don’t have the gospel can get through it. May the Lord be with you.

I am so heartbroken about your loss. I really know how you must feel. I am the last one in my family as I have lost my parents and both sisters and both my brothers and I know how hard it is. My prayers are with you both and your family. I loved the Osmonds since Donny was 12 years old and I do love all of you. I am just heartbroken by your loss. I am the same age as Merrill 70 years old my birthday is April 3, 1953 I know he was born the same year.
