Maurice was by far the most talented musician of the Bee Gees and I like his smooth and variable voice. Unfortunately he hasn't had that powerful voice like Barry or Robin so he sang lead vocals only a few times. R.I.P. Mo

I think Maurice had a happy, more settled life with Yvonne. I'm not sure he would have ever stopped drinking had he stayed with Lulu; the lifestyle they lived, both drinking. You never know; they were both young and figuring life out. But, Maurice did seem very happy with Yvonne and his children. So very sad he left when he was still so young... Very sad for his wife and children. Also, for his mother, brothers and sister. I heard Barry say that his mother blamed herself because she had lost 3 children, somehow it was her fault. I hope she found peace in her heart before she passed. It wasn't her fault; sadly, these things happen and we don't understand why. The world lost a wonderful talent and wonderful man.
