However, just as President Marshall is about to make his leap to safety, Ivan triggers a devastating explosion that violently propels the president into the open air. 1:53 I remember seeing this in the theater and one of my friends gave off this loud laugh and yelled IT'S THE POST MASTER GENERAL in an Arnold S. accent. Fun times. LOL

This and Speed are the two definitive 90's action movies. Nothing like them today.

Yet another classic music cue from the great Jerry Goldsmith. Thank you, Sir. May you continue to rest in peace.

The woman's expression at 1:53 is great! She looks like she's having a great time, forgetting all about the peril she just escaped. Who is that actress? And the timing of the excellent music!

Memorable scene from an awesome movie. William H. Macy smashing the emergency glass with his elbow at 1:08 was epic, and the future Postmaster General--wonder what became of her--is clearly having the time of her life parachuting to safety at 1:53-1:56. And the late Jerry Goldsmith's fantastic score was truly the cherry on top...he should've received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Score.
